If you have started - but not completed - your GED, now is the time to finish.

In January 2014, the current version of the GED test will be replaced by CTB/McGraw-Hill’s Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC), and all non-passing GED scores will expire at the end of 2013. That means if you have started the GED but have not completed and passed all 5 tests by the end of this year, you will have to start all over again with the TASC test.

There is still time to finish. And EmployIndy, together with WorkOne Indianapolis, wants to help you locate the resources you need to complete the GED.

While, a high school diploma or a GED certificate is valuable, it may not be enough to help you get the job you need, as employers want individuals with experience and training. WorkINdiana provides programs to help you earn your GED or to improve your skills in an Adult Education classroom, and earn a career certificate to help you get the job you want. There are more than 30 certifications available that enable you to start a career in fields such as advanced manufacturing, business administration and support, health care, hospitality, information technology and transportation and logistics.
